Let me introduce me to you.
I was born in 1957 and since I was about 14 years old I have a lot of fun making paintings.
If someone liked it I gave it away.
I think some 15 of my earliest paintings I gave for free .
I little naif. I didn't get so much in return. I've not seen these people in years. But nevertheless I hope they are still happy with it and I hope when they are broke they can pay their debts with it as a seaman always bears a golden ring in his ear for the unfortunate occasion he falls of the ship and is found dead at the beach.
I hope you don't mind I'm a little ironic about how not to be succesful.
Now I'm older things have changed.
There is a lot of art and I try to get my place in the artworld. The oldest you see on this site I have made in 1975.
I always loved it and now it is my profession.
In 2006 I made a giant step and quitted my job after 30 years.
I thank Marina Veenstra for her sweet words about my work and one thing I can tell you : she has seen al lot.
It's a big world and I'm not a painter who is painting only for the Dutch people for I want to broaden my horizon .
I think I may say that I want my share of attention for my art and you could recommend me to people who are also interested and looking for art.
I think my art is original and I have a lot on the shelf.
I get visitors on my site from all over the world. Sometimes frequent from the USA. I wonder who they are, who you are.
Were you looking for the well known painters like Rembrandt or van Gogh that you probably can't affort or were you searching for new art?
Recently I made a remake of the King of space.
People say the figure reminds them of E.T. The fact is that I made the first one in 1982 and no one had ever heard of E.T.
The funny thing is that my creature is not making jokes and might be the king of space having earth on a pillar..
No seriously, it's ART. 3 dimensional and influenced by men's discovery of space, colorful and surrealistic.
Take also a look at my sybol, my logo I painted 3 years ago.
It's NEW, never seen before and it's symbolic. It's ART.
" Twin " , " The girl with the red cap", " The Sky " , "Saint ",
" Pinokkio ", they all have a hidden subject.
Only your imagination can tell you what that might be.
I also added new material on this site.
Work for example "Think rational" , " Think organized" .
